DoloLabs Inc. ("Company") operates the service "DoloLabs" ('https://doloplanet.com') and has established the following Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users' personal information and promptly handle related complaints.

1. Purpose of Personal Information Processing

The "Company" processes personal information for the following purposes and will not use it for any other purpose:

  • Customer registration intent verification, user identification and authentication for service provision, membership maintenance and management, payment processing for goods or services, supply and delivery of goods or services, and service quality improvement through collective data analysis

2. Personal Information Processing and Retention Period

The "Company" processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention and usage period prescribed by law or the personal information retention and usage period consented to by the data subject.

  • Customer registration and management: Member registration through Kakao Sync and management through Kakao Channel
  • Retention period: Immediate deletion upon Kakao Channel withdrawal

3. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them

Data subjects may exercise the following rights against the "Company" at any time:

  1. Request to access personal information
  2. Request correction in case of errors
  3. Request deletion
  4. Request to stop processing

4. Personal Information Items Processed

The "Company" processes the following personal information items:

Member registration (registration through Kakao account)

  • Required items: Kakao nickname, encrypted user verification value (CI)
  • Optional items: Profile photo, gender, age
  • Collection purpose: Member payment information verification and error response

Identity verification (verification through KG Inicis)

  • Name, gender, date of birth, mobile phone number, telecommunications carrier, domestic/foreign status, encrypted user verification value (CI), duplicate registration verification information (DI)

Web payment (payment through Nice Payments, "payment agency")

  • Mobile phone number, payment method, card number, expiration date, payment amount, email and other payment information may be processed or collected by the "payment agency"
  • Collection purpose: Payment processing, payment error response, refund processing

Customer inquiries

  • Required items: Inquiry type, mobile phone number, email, inquiry details
  • Collection purpose: Customer inquiry and consultation request response, service usage record inquiry

5. Destruction of Personal Information

The "Company" destroys personal information without delay when the purpose of personal information processing is achieved.

  • Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is moved to a separate DB after achieving the purpose and stored for a certain period before being destroyed. Personal information moved to the DB is not used for other purposes unless required by law.
  • Destruction deadline: Users' personal information is destroyed within 5 days from the end of the retention period.

6. Service Usage Record Collection and Refusal

The "Company" collects users' service usage records for service improvement. These records are used for service usage pattern analysis, service improvement, and personalized service provision.

  • Users can refuse service usage record collection in app settings. Refusal may result in limitations in personalized service usage.

7. Personal Information Protection Officer

The "Company" has designated a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and to handle personal information protection-related inquiries and complaints:

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from the implementation date, and if there are changes due to laws or company policies, we will notify you through announcements 7 days before implementation.

9. Security Measures for Personal Information

The "Company" takes the following measures in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act:

  • Minimization and education of personal information handling staff
  • Technical measures to prepare for hacking and other threats
  • Personal information encryption
  • Storage and falsification prevention of access records
  • Access restriction to personal information

10. Remedy for Infringement of Data Subject Rights

To receive relief for damages caused by personal information infringement, you may contact the following institutions:
