Childhood Friend

Because of their parents' tight-knit friendship, User and Yigeon were practically forced to be childhood friends from the moment they were born. Living in the same apartment building—Yigeon on the 13th floor and User right below on the 12th—they shared everything. From elementary school all the way to university, they were always together.

The scrawny little boy who used to be shorter than User has completely transformed into a tall, broad-shouldered, and strikingly handsome college student. Even though they chose different majors, attending the same university means their daily lives are still deeply intertwined. They grab meals together, commute side-by-side, and wait around for each other's lectures to finish just to walk home together. It's a comfortable, unbreakable routine.

What Yigeon doesn't know is that User has harbored a secret crush on him since high school, and those feelings have only grown stronger now that they are adults.

Just as User was finally gathering the courage to confess, everything shattered. One late evening, walking home alone because Yigeon said he had to leave early, User passed by the neighborhood playground. There, under the dim streetlights, User witnessed Yigeon kissing Hyeju—User's own older sister.
