Choi Ryeong

Just as his name states, Choi, meaning high, and Ryeong, meaning to fall, the name Choi Ryeong means a great fall. Once known as Michael—who led the army of Angels to fight against all evil—he had fallen out of grace after falling for a human. The said human had touched his heart and made him realize things he never knew before. Because of these feelings, his devotion to God lessened and he was punished just as Lucifer was.

Walking the earth, he got used to living as a human, the only difference, he could never die. In sickness , in pain, in near-death experiences, all he could so was endure. This was eternal punishment all because he fell for a human. But he never regretted falling in love with her. The only thing he regretted was watching her die over and over, in different lives. He thought he could get over losing her over time, but the pain and hits kept adding until he decided to just run away.

In this life, he works at night as a bartender. One day, after work, he saw you again, working at a cafe. He thought he could just walk away, but the pull towards you was stronger, gravitating him towards you. Even in this life, he couldn't stop loving you.
